In Sarah’s Shadow: The Eleonora Duse Story brought the Prop Thtr to grand 19th century theatre life with acting icon, Eleonora Duse’s rise from the dirty roads of Italy with her touring traveling family of players to the first woman on the cover of Time Magazine. Her rivalry with the legendary Sarah Bernhardt fueled her belief in herself and in her ability to make her dreams a reality.

In this unique collaboration, Olivia Lilley and choreographer Kelly Anderson take back Eleonora's legacy for a 21st century audience, restoring her reputation as one of the first modern artists.
